PZ-33 UPC

SPECIFICATIONS

The ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List is a guidance affecting the industries processing textile materials, leather, rubber, foam, adhesives and trim parts in textiles, apparel, and footwear. While all our products comply within ZDHC regulation, the UPC range also adheres to any additional supplementary regulations that may affect the industry.

POLYAZIRIDINE GLOBAL has the UPC range (UltraPure Crosslinker), with the target to guarantee the formulators of coatings addressed to the mentioned industries, to fulfill the strict requirements placed by the regulation.

At the same time, our range provides the recognized best balance performance vs. cost, achieved from the aziridine chemistry.

PZ-33 UPC is an ethylene imine based tri-functional polyaziridine (XAMA® 7 equivalent) that is used as a crosslinker for both aqueous and non-aqueous coatings, inks, and adhesives to promote both physical and chemical properties.

With the highest level of functionality at 3.3, it yields the highest level of cross-link density of polyfunctional aziridines.

The aziridine end groups can react with active hydrogen as found on carboxyl groups of acrylic emulsions or polyurethane dispersions. PZ-33 also has a hydroxyl group, which allows it to dispersion readily into aqueous systems.
